Yes one more quilt block pattern. Tomorrow I will share a sketch challenge with you that I am doing on my groups again.
This one is made from the new Designer Paper Cerise. I love this paper it is so bright and pretty.
Here is what you need for this project.
Cerise Designer Paper
Real Red Card Stock
1 1/4 inch punch
Very Vanilla Ink Pad
Versamark
Cut a 5x10 piece of Real Red for basic card.
Punch out 10 Real Red pieces with the 1 1/4 punch. Cut 4 of those on the diagonal.
Punch out 6 Pieces of the Designer Paper Cerise. Cut 4 of those on the diagonal.
The RR card stock pieces you will stamp with your versamark and then again in Very Vanilla. Set aside to dry.
Row 1: Cerise 1/2 triangle in upper corner on the basic card. Then the RR stamped 1/2 triangle. RR then Cerise, Cerise then RR, RR and Cerise. In that order across the top.
Row 2: Is all 1 1/4 inch pieces so glue those four down under your top row.
Row3: With triangle pieces start with Cerise, RR, RR square piece, RR square piece, RR, Cerise.
Row 4: Square Cerise, Cerise, RR triangles, RR, Cerise triangles, last is another Cerise square.
You can follow the layout from my card sample.
This one makes such a pretty Valentine's card for you quilting friends.
Hope you enjoyed today's project.
Remember tomorrow will be a Sketch challenge. A Hint: it is going to be a long card cut at 8x9 and folded to be a 4x9 card. So check back tomorrow for the challenge card.
