Making your own jump-rings.........

Going through my emails I ran across this email of a video on how to make your own jump rings so you can attach your charms to your projects.
Check it out at TV Weekly, you can also do as I do and subscribe to the site and get updates each week. I have gotten some really good video (tutorials) from this website.
I hope you find this site and video useful. Take a look around while you are there.

BBQ Apron

From storms to sirens going off this week, I haven't been on much. Sirens blared again tonight for about 15 minutes or so. And did a few nights ago. Sounds like some touchdowns near us according to our police scanner and the radio. But nothing real close thank goodness for that. I think we are in for a long summer with many storms and tornado's. So needless to say I have not updated in a week. Been so much going on.
Next week I see the doctor again for RLS Restless Leg Syndrome and to find out what all they are going to do and test now. Sleep Apnea come back as being a mild case so don't need the CPAP machine, thank goodness. Ok enough of that on to the project.
I made this thinking of my hubby and grilling. Speaking of which if the weather permits it would be nice to do that through the week.
Supplies used in this one was:
Night of Navy Card stock
Whisper White Craft Ink
White Gel Pen
Backyard BBQ (retired SU set)
Directions:
Cut NON card stock into 1/4's out of one sheet you would get 2 aprons as you need the rest for you pockets.
Print out pattern and put on card stock. Stamp as desired. I layered my pockets with mono adhesive. I added faux stitching with my white gel pen all around except for the top of the apron and the top of the pockets.
Added ribbon to the top of it and was going to on the sides but decided it would make a cute recipe card to so didn't add the ribbon along the sides. Just flip it over and with a white gel pen write your recipe or do one up on the computer in the shape of your apron and mount to the back.
I cut out two oven mitts and tucked them inside the largest pocket.
Hope you enjoyed today's project and I will try and do better at keeping my blog up to date.
The pattern for this is from Valita's Blog, thanks for the pattern. Check hers out she made hers into a apron that holds tools for men, cute idea.

Thanks for stopping bye.
