I have been unable to get into my blog for 2 days. I had updated and it messed it up some how so I went back and un-did it. Frustrating!
These cards are fun to make, but do take some patience. Working with those plastic grocery bags is a challenge. They always looked so hard to make until I seen this tutorial on Dawn's Blog.
You might have to click on the cards to get a larger view they didn't show up to big, kind of hard to see.
Anyway, what I used was the following:
Non SU stamp sets, I got this angel set from my friend LuJean. Thanks Lu!!
Brocade Blue, Whisper White, Basic black card stock
Black stitched ribbon
Brocade Blue Ink Pad, Black Ink Pad
Gamsol and Colored Pencils
Stapler
Plastic Grocery Bag
Red liner tape and mono adhesive
Cutting directions so you don't have to watch the tutorial over and over again like I did before I caught on I didn't have to. LOL
Brocade Blue is cut at 5 1/2 x 11, then scored at 3 1/2, 7 1/8 and 10 5/8
Inside pieces that slide is Whisper White and is cut at 3 1/4 x 5 1/2. You will need two of these.
The plastic bag is cut approx. 1 to 1 1/2 wide by 12. You need it long enough to wrap around the card.
I pop dotted my image to the front of the card.
Hope you enjoy today's project and are able to use the link.
Angel hugs
