I came across a great blog site today and she has step by step tutorials on almost all of her artwork. I have not made it through her whole blog yet but what I see is amazing. Check it out, Michelle Zindorf does an awesome job of showing you how she creates her masterpieces.

I have also added her to my blog along the right side so you can find it easily there to. Hope you enjoy her blog as much as I do.

CBC16 Let's Play Ball
Chrissy over at Creating with Chrissy is having her weekly Belli Challenge, you can check it out here. This week she has using eyelets. Here is what I come up with for you challenge this week. I use big eyelets on this one that I got at a dollar store.I also used a sketch from iheart2stamp, I will include the sketch here for you to try to.
Whisper White, Real Red and Choc Chip card stock
Black ink
Large Eyelets
Crop-a-dile or Big Kick
Stamp sets of choice
Gamsol and colored pencils
Directions:
Cut WW for basic card at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 fold in half to form card. I stamp with black ink softballs over the background of the card.
Cut 3 strips of Choc. Chip at 1" wide x 4 6/8
Cut 3 strips of Real Red at 3/4" x 4 6/8, mount to CC strips
Cut 3 strips of Whisper White at 1/2" x 4 6/8. Mount on-top the Real Red strip.
Cut Choc Chip at 3 x 2 7/8
Cut Real Red at 2 3/4 x 2 5/8 mount to Choc Chip piece
Cut Whisper White at 2 1/2 by 2 3/8 and stamp image in black ink and color in. Mount this to the Real Red and Choc Chip piece. Add adhesive to the back and add strips evenly spaced behind this. See sample for placement. Then punch holes for eyelets with your crop-a-dile or Big Kick. Add eyelets and mount all this to your main card.
I thought this turned out cute and will make a nice card for either a male or a female that plays in sports also.

Rub-ons that Glitter

I love these, my girl friend in the cities called one day and was at Michael's and said they had really nice rub-ons what ones did I want her to get me. So this is what I picked sights unseen. I love each and everyone of them. If you haven't used rub-ons your missing out they go on so nicely. SU also sells rub-on's but not with the glitter on them. I wanted some of these to go on candles as I seen some on SCS and loved how they turned out. She got these for 99 cents each and sent them to me. I got them last week and will be working with some real soon.
Go quick and check out your Michael's or another store that might carry them and get yours to play around with. They look fantastic on candles, cards, scrap book pages, tins, you name it.

Cut a strip of VV at 4 1/4 x 1 1/8 and a piece cut to 3 1/8 x 3 1/8
Cut CC at 3/4 x 4 1/4 and one at 2 7/8 x 2 7/8
Patterned paper is cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and mounted to the VV main card
Now cut your another VV piece at 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 and stamp deer image on and color in with gamsol and colored pencils. Mount this to the CC piece that measures 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and then to the VV that is 3 1/8 x 3 1/8. Mount this to the card as shown.

One had colon cancer and one was just put in a nursing home as she is not doing well at all. And one just had a pacemaker put in his kidney. Never heard of them doing that before.
Hope your having a good weekend, it is beautiful here today.

Creating what better way to spend a sleepless night!

Froggy went a courtin'.................CBC15
I got these images from a lady who stamped them for me as I do not have this cute little frog. Isn't he just so darn cute.? Not sure of the stamp company that makes him, if and when I find out I will let you all know. This was done for a Belli Challenge from Chrissy. Check out her blog and her challenge and run with it. This week is using pencils. For this one I used watercolor pencils and my aqua painter. Really simple and cute to make. I hadn't used my watercolor pencils in forever so this was a great challenge.
Here is Chrissy's challenge. This Weeks Belli Challenge is PENCILS Your challenge this week is to make a project using any kind of PENCIL! Art Pencils with Gamsol, Watercolor Pencils, Metallic Pencils...let your imagination go wild! I bought a box of Prismacolor pencils and have let them sit. I also have a box of watercolor pencils, I rarely use!
Supplies needed:
Watercolor Pencils
Aqua Painter
Stamp set of choice
WW card stock, Black, Bashful Blue and Garden Green card stock
Black Gel Pen
Blue Grosgrain Ribbon
Thanks is a rub on I got at the dollar store
Direction:
Stamp images on WW card stock. Color in with watercolor pencils and your aqua painter. Set aside to dry for a few minutes. When dry punch them out with a 1 1/4 punch and then with Garden Green punch out 4 @ 1 1/2 inch pieces mount them to the back of the froggies!
With Black Gel Pen, add dashed lines around each green piece. Cut black card stock at 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 mount images on this piece evenly.
Bashful blue is cut at 5 1/4 by 4, I used little circles with a dot in the center of them so it kind of looked like little tadpoles floating around on the blue. I used bashful blue to stamp them. Added a blue grosgrain ribbon to the side and then rubbed on the thanks aside of that. See sample for placement of all pieces.
Last cut your WW card stock at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 fold in half for for a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Mount the blue with all your layers onto the white card stock. Your done and it was so easy to do.
Hope you enjoyed today's project. I will try and get another one out today.

Our New Home

I got these pages in a scrapbook swap I did several years ago and added some photo's to it and my journaling and it was completed. We moved and bought our house in July of 2004. Not much I can tell you about this except for Michelle Price is the artist on this two page layout, all I did was add the photo's and tell about it. The stamp set she used is a Retired Ronald McDonald Stamp set from SU, don't recall the name of the set anymore. Figure it was time I got the use out of some of my swap pages. Now to find a scrapbook that will fit the pages in them. This was a 6x6 scrapbook page swap. I have a ton of pictures I could add to it and pages yet.
Figured beings the first post today was about a scrapbook I would share this one too. Hope you enjoy.

I have a chipboard book I bought recently and have been wondering what to do with it. After seeing this I know what I will be doing. Thanks Laurie for the idea. Think mine will end up being either our dog Rascal or maybe my dd in her softball games.
You can see the rest of Laurie's little scrapbook here . To get your temptations going to check out the rest of her book here is the cover. Laurie's blog name is Just Give me Stamps.
